Welcome to Kristine Keith's Wheatens home of excellent quality.

To provide you with years of companionship and enjoyment.

The owner has been a Certified dog groomer since 1999,  has shown many breeds in US and Canada.
She has finished her education in the field Veterinary Technology
.  Our dogs are a part of our family, they are not kennel dogs.  We raise happy, healthy puppies.  All of our dogs are AKC registered and OFA certified, Show or Pet Quality Puppies.

I am a hobby breeder with four wheatens. My puppies are raised in my home, they are socialized from birth.  Priorities are Health, Temperament, and finding loving responsible homes.  Please do not be offended but our dogs are sold to homes that I feel comfortable placing a Wheaten puppy.

I’m proud to say I have helped many families with allergies. It gives me a great feeling to know that I have given
a child a dog they have always wanted. Allergy sufferers do very well with Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers.

The Soft Coated Wheaten has Hair, rather than Fur. They also have a single coat which is non-shedding.
This is more easily tolerated by people with allergies.

Keep in mind there is variety in the wheaten coats.

Traditional Irish, Heavy Irish, and American Soft Coated Wheaten. It is always wise to visit the dog to see
if you are not allergic.

Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is a happy, friendly dog of medium height and weight.  A male shall be 18 to 19
inches at the withers and a female 17 to 18.  Dogs should weigh 30-35 pounds.  Wheatens are non-shedding
and hypo allergenic...great for people who are allergic to dogs.

Why are Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers SO EXPENSIVE ???

Non-shedding Hypo-allergenic breed is one Big factor

Breeders like my self put a lot of time and money into there lines to provide you with the best quality puppy.

Here are a few expenses:

*Health screenings are performed before breeding takes place
*DNA Testing, PLE & PLN tests
*OFA Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, CERF Canine Eye Registration Foundation
*AKC Registration of litters
*Docking Tails, re-moving of de-claws, and other Vet expenses
*AKC Dog showing expenses
*Stud Fee

If your breeder has earned the titles on the Bitch or Stud, such as Championship titles “Conformation” or Obedience. Puppies are usually in the higher price range.

You can always find a cheap Wheaten some where,
when you find the right breeder its worth waiting for a puppy.
